One of the characteristics mas prominent of this area of the Pyrenees is the presence of numerously lakes of high mountain. They are more than 50 those that we can discover walking along the paths's net of the zone.

From the level 2.000 up to 2.500, each of them presents a few landscape with singular features , diverse extensions and diverse depths. Likewise the water's color is different in all the cases.

Certescans's lake with a depth of 100 meters is the principal one in the Pyrenees, also the lakes of Romedo, Nahorte, Port, Mariola, Diable, Flamicella, Guerossos, .... must be mentioned
